Need2Obey is a recurring fetish social for guys who are into power exchange, especially using erotic hypnosis. Get to know others who are into the same thing as you: control, domination, submission, and a good mind-fuck. Learn about hypnosis, and how you can use it as a tool for erotic control and pleasure.
It's a social event for people into power exchange, especially erotic hypnosis.
A lot of BDSM play involves the dominant physically controlling the submissive: restraining his body with ropes or chains, applying force if he disobeys. Erotic hypnosis is like BDSM, but on a mental level: using hypnotic suggestions and commands to restrain and control the submissive, so that he is compelled to do as he is told. You can even cause sensations of pain or pleasure without using physical interactions! (Although physical interactions can make the experience even more intense...)
Hypnosis is extremely safe; it cannot force anyone to do anything that they are not comfortable with doing. If you are hypnotized, you can take control of your own mind any time that you want or need to. You can also come out of a hypnotic trance at any time you want.
Hypnosis can definitely reduce inhibitions, or remove them entirely. If you have certain curiosities or fantasies that you normally keep tightly locked away in your mind, you might find that being hypnotized allows you to explore and experience those fantasies. You might find yourself doing things that you would have never dreamed you could do, because you are normally too shy, too afraid of what others might think of you. It can be confronting and embarrassing to come out of a hypnotic trance and realize what the hypnotist “made” you do.
But there's a big difference between being “made” to do something that you wanted to try, and being forced to do something that you genuinely don't want to do. The first option is possible with hypnosis; the second option is not.
Of course! There will be a good mix of experienced and inexperienced people at the event. If you don't know much about hypnosis and you want to learn, this is a great opportunity to ask questions. If you're comfortable with it, you could even try getting hypnotized; or try hypnotizing someone else! It's a safe and friendly environment to explore something new.
Probably! There will be a few hypnotists and plenty of subjects, so there will be lots of opportunities for hypnosis sessions. If you want to hypnotize someone, or to be hypnotized, just ask!
As with many other fetish communities, the erotic hypnosis community has an imbalance in roles: there are always more people who want to be hypnotized, than there are people who want to hypnotize others! (Just like there are always more submissives than dominants, more bottoms than tops, and so on.)
Definitely! Flipping the script can be a lot of fun. It's possible to use hypnosis to help someone to be more dominant and devious in sexual situations, and you can even hypnotize others to “make” them dominate you in the ways you want!
Possibly, but only in a specific area of the event. If you do not want to see or be around sexual activity, you can stay out of that area.
Most of the space in Confessions is one large room, but there is also a small private confessional booth, and a small darkroom upstairs. Socializing and flirting is allowed everywhere, but if you want to engage in sexual activity, that is only allowed in the confessional booth or in the darkroom. Most people at Need2Obey will be in the large room, available for conversation and non-sexual hypnosis sessions. (Note that non-sexual nudity is allowed everywhere, as well: you may see some genitals! Being naked is not inherently sexual, and we allow social nudity.)
If you are interested in doing something more sexual, you may do so — but only in the confessional booth or in the darkroom. Not everyone at this event wants to be around sexual activity, so if you start getting sexual, please head to one of those places.
If you choose to engage in penetrative sex, free condoms are available; just ask the organizers. We suggest that you discuss safe sex pratices with your partner, ideally before any play that leads in that direction. If things go there unexpectedly, you can and should bring yourself out of a trance headspace, so that you can discuss this before proceeding.
This is a big topic, and there are plenty of resources on the internet that can help answer this question more completely. As a brief overview: sexual advances (including touches) are expected, but consent is respected. If someone indicates they want to play with you and you are not interested in doing so, politely but firmly tell them no, and move their hand away if necessary. If you do want to play with them: have fun!
We recommend listening to the “Beginner's Bathhouse Guide” episode of the Kinkyboys Podcast to get more information. It's not quite the same topic, but it's very similar; and HairyHypnotist is the guest for this episode, so you can hear his voice and his perspective.
No, Confessions will be open for all customers during the Need2Obey event. You may encounter people who are not interested in hypnosis, and are only there for the bar.
Yes! We intend to run this social event once every three or four months, and to form a stable, friendly community of people who are interested in erotic hypnosis. We don't yet know when the next event in Brussels will be; but we will update this space when we do!
While Need2Obey is hosted at Confessions, it is free of charge! No tickets, just walk in.
There's no dress code, so you may wear whatever you want. This is a social event, not a play party, so comfortable street clothing is perfectly acceptable. Bonus points if you wear a hypnosis-themed T-shirt!
That said, if you want to wear something more eye-catching, or go naked, you're welcome to do so! There is no dedicated changing area, but full nudity is allowed inside the venue, so you may change your clothes wherever you want.
You may see others dressed (or undressed) in ways that you don't expect. We're all adults here, so please accept the clothing choices of others. (If they are following a hypnotic suggestion, they may not even be aware of what they're wearing!)
The intended audience for this event is primarily men who are interested in men. However, we do welcome all genders and sexualities.
Safety is important, and if you're feeling unsafe, then you should tell someone who is able to help. You can always ask for help at the bar, or you can inform the organizers of the event: David (HairyHypnotist) or Herman (HypnoHerman). One or more of them will address the situation immediately.
Need2Obey is organized by Master David the HairyHypnotist, along with his slaves. Want to know more about Need2Obey, or about erotic hypnosis? Send him a message, and he would be happy to answer your questions!
